Nothing is quite as fun as printing with collagraphs!
The printing plates in this case were paper boxes to which I've glued small cardboard details. You can still recognize the slots and markings of the original packaging, incorporated into characters and scenes. I also used blank pieces of cardstock to create the debossed details.
The theme is the emotions. Sometimes so hard to identify for both children and adults. To each is associated a color: anger is red robot, fear is black monster, sadness is a cold river and wonder is spaceship among the stars.
It's a whole new world to explore, if we look beyond the shapes before our eyes and think outside the box.
